Chartering is extremely important! If you have organized a Royal Rangers group and have not yet chartered, see what you have been missing.

 Chartering is the act of registering your Royal Rangers group with the National PH Royal Rangers Office; please contact your Conference Commander for the correct chartering procedure in your conference.

Your outpost will receive NATIONAL RECOGNITION in the form of
an attractive 9- by 12-inch charter certificate to display in the outpost meeting room.
In addition, the following items are included with your charter:

  • Membership Card: Boys and leaders will receive official membership cards.
  • Quarterly Publications: All Royal Rangers leaders will recieve a quarterly publication called the High Adventure Leader. Each boy and leader will receive a subscription to the High Adventure, our exciting Royal Rangers magazine for boys. 
  • Bible Study Lessons: A compimentary copy of the Royal Rangers Bible Study Lessons, Volume I, will be given to leaders (first time charters only).
  • Award Program: The commander of each chartered group is eligible to participate in the Outpost Commander's Award program.
  • Selected Brochures: Several brochures describing various areas of the Royal Rangers ministry will also be included in the charter packet.
  • Other Benefits: Training is available to leaders of chartered outposts. They may participate in the Leadership Training Course and national training camps.
  • Boys and leaders can enjoy the camping activities and events held at sectional, district, region, and national levels
