DRUSA Keeping Close Eye on Hurricane Earl

I had a 10:30 a.m. (CST) briefing with Warren Matthews, coordinator for the Mobile Feeding Kitchen and Gordon Knox, coordinator for the North Carolina Disaster Relief Trailer . In preparation for the hurricane season Warren has placed the first order for non-perishable food. He reports that the truck and equipment have been serviced and the kitchen is ready, if needed for deployment. Gordon reports the same for truck and trailer out of Ahoskie, North Carolina.
Our goal in Disaster Relief and Recovery is to be prepared as much as possible. I need Conference DRUSA Coordinators’ to be communicating with your teams, Women's Ministries for personal care kits (PercaKits), and checking your email for regular updates.

DRUSA Coordinator

Men's Ministries and Royal Rangers Working Together at Life Springs Worship Center

On Thursday August 26, Commander David Moore, IPHC Royal Rangers National Commander, was the guest speaker for a council fire service at Life Springs Worship Center in Lexington, South Carolina. Before the council fire service, Commander Sammy Koon, Senior Commander of Outpost 108 at Life Springs Worship Center, hosted a "Thank You" dinner for Men's Ministries.
